Keeping Totterdown Properties Looking Their Best
Totterdown climbs the hillside south of Bath Bridge — steep streets, painted Victorian terraces in every colour, sloped front gardens and views over the city. Access is the defining feature: the houses sit close to the road and the gardens step up behind them.
The famous stepped terraces in Totterdown mean sloped paths and steps that hold water after rain — and hold the algae that comes with them.

Driveway Cleaning
Off-street drives are rare; where they exist on the flatter streets they are short paved courts. Cleaned in the direction of fall so runoff works downhill.

Patio Cleaning
Sloped rear gardens make terraced patio levels. Each level cleaned separately with runoff managed, so nothing washes into the beds below.
View Service
Gutter Cleaning
Terraces stepping down steep streets shed fast into the gutter runs — clear plus flush keeps the water moving instead of running down the party walls.
View Service
Roof Cleaning
Pitched roofs on the terraces hold moss at the shaded laps. Ground-level brush removal and biocide — no ladders on the party-wall lines.

Render & Exterior Cleaning
The painted render Totterdown is known for picks up weather-side streaking. Soft wash cleans it without lifting the paint or dulling the colour.

Solar Panel Cleaning
Totterdown rooflines step down the hillside, so arrays sit at every height — pole work planned per street, usually from one ground setup with nothing on the steep frontages. Paint-period render next to arrays is cleaned soft, never jetted.

Before AfterFrequently Asked Questions
Do you cover Totterdown?
Yes — Totterdown is covered: Windsor Terrace, the hillside streets climbing from Bath Bridge, and every road on the slope.
Can you work on streets where the house steps straight onto the pavement?
Yes. Water feed and poles are set up in one spot and the work runs from there — no vehicle on the drive needed and nothing leaned on the period stonework.
How much does driveway cleaning cost in Totterdown?
Driveway cleaning in Totterdown starts from £59 for a standard single driveway. Every quote is free and itemised before we start.
Do you clean solar panels in Totterdown?
Yes. Arrays here are cleaned with long-reach poles and soft-bristle heads from ground level — the glass is never walked on and nothing is jetted at the panel edges. Call 07474 939 398 for a free quote.
How often should gutters be cleared in Totterdown?
Once a year after leaf fall suits most properties in Totterdown; twice-yearly clearing is honest advice where trees sit directly over the roof.
