Soffit & Fascia Cleaning Bath
Green algae, black streaks and dirt-stained uPVC age a property fast. Our specialist soft wash technique restores soffits and fascias to a like-new finish without high-pressure water that could force moisture behind fixings or damage roof tiles.
Specialist Soffit & Fascia Cleaning
Soffits and fascias are the most overlooked part of a property's exterior — yet dirty, streaked uPVC is one of the first things people notice. Standard jet washing risks forcing water under tiles and behind fixings. We use a dedicated soft wash approach that cleans thoroughly and safely.

Why We Don't Jet Wash Soffits & Fascias
High-Pressure Jet Wash
- Forces water behind fixings and into roof void
- Can crack and yellow uPVC under sustained pressure
- Strips paint and damages wood grain on timber soffits
- Doesn't kill algae spores — staining returns quickly
Our Soft Wash Method
- Low pressure — no risk of water ingress behind fixings
- Specialist detergent safely dissolves algae and black streaks
- Safe for uPVC, timber and aluminium finishes
- Biocide kills spores — results last far longer

Soffit & Fascia Cleaning FAQ
What causes black streaks on my fascias?
Black streaks on uPVC fascias are caused by a combination of algae, mould and pollution residue that bonds to the surface over time. Standard household cleaning products rarely shift them — professional soft washing with specialist detergents is the most effective solution.
Will jet washing damage uPVC soffits and fascias?
We do not use high-pressure jet washing on soffits and fascias. Instead we use a soft wash technique — low-pressure water combined with biodegradable specialist detergents that dissolve grime and kill algae without stressing the uPVC, fixings or roof tiles.
Can you clean wooden soffits and fascias?
Yes. Timber soffits require a gentler approach than uPVC. We use a low-pressure rinse and soft brush technique to remove growth and staining without damaging the wood grain or any existing paint or stain finish.
How long does soffit and fascia cleaning take?
A typical semi-detached property takes 2–3 hours. Detached homes or properties with extensive algae growth may take longer. We will give you an accurate time estimate with your free quote.
Can you combine soffit and fascia cleaning with gutter clearing?
Absolutely — and we'd recommend it. Since we're already working at roofline level, combining both services is more cost-effective than two separate visits. Many customers book a full roofline package: gutters cleared, downpipes flushed and soffits and fascias cleaned in one visit.
